It’s late, but I can’t seem to fall asleep..

I ended up looking through all these old photos on my timeline and Instagram reel - I’m glad I have so many, but at the same time I also felt I didn’t have enough. I wish I took more photos in middle school and high school. I also wish my parents took more photos during my childhood.

Success, achievement, and getting your shit together seems to be on everyone’s minds lately. I realized today how I want my life to look.

I honestly just want it to be fun. To be filled with happiness, family, and friends. One roller coaster adventure after another. I want to look back through my photos and see my past selves having the time of their lives.

I don’t mean to say that you should throw your lifelong dreams and aspirations for changing the world away…I just think it’s important to live a life where when you reflect, you have fond memories and had a lot of fun with this one life we’re given.

We don’t have to always be forced to some existence and success level dictated by society. I don’t have to be at this and that point in my life just because 40 something year olds are telling me so. I’ll get there, I just want to have fun along the way.

Besides, there’s nothing wrong with actually LIVING. Simply, living.
