I got new glasses!
And they are beautiful, beautiful black metal Burberry frames that are just as gorgeous as my favorite people in this picture here. I never could resist Burberry anything. I haven’t gotten new glasses in a long time, more than two years, so I’m really excited about using them. I’m not a very high maintenance girl in terms of getting ready in the morning (though I can’t say the same for emotionally). I don’t need to put a face on when I get up everyday, heck I don’t brush my hair either - I don’t even own a brush! My daily routine usually consists of peeing, washing my hands, brushing my teeth, and washing my face with a hot towel. So the idea of cutting out the time and effort for putting in contacts and wearing my adorable glasses makes me ecstatic. It usually takes me ten minutes to leave the house, to cut that down to five gives me five more minutes of sleep in my busy schedule.
However, it is a downfall when I actually do have to look my age and nice for a date or something. Since I’m not used to wearing makeup often, it ends up taking me a long time to get ready when I need to. It does help to have the NAKED palette though. I swear, it doesn’t matter what colors I choose or what the hell I’m doing with them - they blend together and look good anyways! Another god send. Easy-to-use, efficient, yet adequate anything is a good thing in my book.
Busy day of school, but hopefully I will have time to jot down my thoughts with more depth in a few hours.
Will post pictures of my nerdy new glasses soon. Yay!
