I think it’s funny how people see you.

I think it’s even funnier how wrong they are about you. Your defiance is seen as courage, your rebellion is taken as strength. Your kindness is your righteousness and your calm nature is your maturity. Your confidence is your security.

But that is not how I see you. That is not how I know you. You are a little child, scared and defensive. Insecurities and worries plague your mind. You are quiet in fear of saying stupid things. You are blunt to anyone but yourself. You can always dish out criticism, but you can never take it. Despite what you say, you do care a lot about what people think - you guard your reputation because it is your life. You are a scared, little child. A child that only I can see - only I can care for.

People believe you to be logical, but I know otherwise.

I also know that you have a beautiful heart. You care much more than you show. You’re sweet and funny, kind of cheesy too. You’re immature, childish and a perfect match to my baby-ish personality. You work a lot harder than you let people know. Your dreams and goals are inspiring. Your potential is limitless.

So while I know that the world believes your lies and eats your fake smiles, I want to keep your little secret.

So that I alone will know how wonderful you really are.

So that I alone will make the real you mine.
