It’s nights like this.
I lay in bed and I wonder about you and what you’re thinking about, whether you’re thinking about me too. If you miss me, if you’re secretly stalking my Facebook like I am on yours. If you want to try again or if I need more time to find myself.
I just lie here and wonder why we’re so far apart and not talking anymore when I feel like we should have ended up as soul mates in one lifetime or another. I wonder if you’re thinking the same thing! It’d be the most ironic thing to find out we still love each other and move on all the same - life’s a double edged sword. It goes on, but then, it goes on.
I miss you, but I’ll give you time.
I probably still need time too.
I just wish I could buy insurance that we’ll meet again and be there for each other when we figure out what we’re going to do with our lives. You’re sleeping so close, but so far away.
