Tsunami.
Damn it, I lost my post.
…Well, tsunami is the name of the pipe I got a year ago. And it had a twin, that I gifted to my good buddy. Although his isn’t named yet, when I saw it last night it reminded me of the first time I smoked from it on my Davis adventure with Cammi. It was a good, spontaneous trip to see old high school friends and even though Cammi fell asleep on me really early into the night, I was able to catch up with the people I grew up with that weekend. I also got to see Kim for the last time before her trip to Europe.
I came over to the Ultimate Three apartment last night for a much needed break from my usual routine. Studying and working at cozy cove all last week was draining, the days started to run together and I couldn’t tell when I ate or showered. It was just a mess. Plus, I found I do much more work in coffee shops and other people’s apartments. We ordered a large pizza from Papa John’s, eating while watching ridiculous music videos. Katy Perry’s The One Who Got Away topped GaGa’s Marry the Night and they both destroyed the awkward-supposed-to-be-sexy Mariah/J. Bieb’s All I Want For Christmas. I was supposed to bring my friendship with Kai to a new level and cuddle all night in his bed, but my snoring sent him to the couch in the other room..sigh, curse my snores. I woke up a couple of other times to Pora’s “Oh my god” and “GASP”, but all in all, a warm sleep. So warm, I couldn’t for the life of me get up in the morning.
I woke up super late this morning to Kai’s, “Cece, it’s 11:40”…
We were supposed to wake up at 9AM. I had a hearty cinnamon oatmeal breakfast with bananas made by Kai with a semi-fried egg made my Katie. Apparently, Katie eats kimchi with every meal. I found that rather odd. Other than that, not a really eventful afternoon. I’m doing some studying, personality profiling, and writing. Just another one of those homebody college Sundays, but I feel content. I just needed a change of pace and to see some new faces so I wasn’t cooped up in my apartment all the time.
I also very much needed the new North Face jacket I bought last night. It’s so freaking cute, I can’t wait to wear it snowboarding or just out in the cold.
The school semester is coming to an end and after a long vacation travelling out of the country, I think I’ll be excited to start a new semester. I better be.
