Yesterday was a good day.

Mack and I met halfway in San Francisco after I got off work. We shopped (Mack looks lame in shorts because of his midget legs) and walked around a lot before waiting forever to try this new ramen place, Katana-ya. It was pretty legit, I have to admit. Even though I was a little turned off by the mandarin speaking chefs at the bar, I enjoyed my butter corn ramen. Mack’s spicy tofu was even better. These Taiwanese chefs weren’t so bad, but they spoke Japanese also! So I am very confuzzled. We tried to catch the movie, Get Him to the Greek, but BART times don’t run late so we walked back to my coop and watched miyazaki movies instead.

I’m in class right now, but I feel excited and content. I have a boy waiting for me at home after I get off work and another new Berkeley delicious restaurant to try for dinner: Gregoire. I can’t really describe the kind of feeling you get knowing someone is waiting for you, happy to see you.

It’s like a feeling you know you exist in this world.
