If you make promises to someone, you should probably try your best to keep them. And if you can’t, you need a damn good reason why not.
“I was lazy” just isn’t going to cut it.
If it’s anything I hate more in the world, it’s people who are lazy and unreliable. Why have someone in your life you can’t depend on and obviously do not care enough to make things happen? It makes me even angrier when lazy people think they have a right to be judgmental and disapproving.
I don’t like to be associated with mediocrity.
Lazy people are the most mediocre of them all.
