So my best friend is getting a puppy..
I’m super excited for her to get the opportunity to learn the love of a dog. I myself have found family in my poofy pup back home. I love her so much, my passion for dogs around the world has increased tenfold, maybe hundredfold. I have always been a dog person and I was probably a dog in some past life because I feel an almost understanding with them, which would explain why some mischievous dogs sit when I ask them to.
I went to my friend, Gordon’s house yesterday in Valley-ho and it was definitely a good experience. Seeing his pit bull, Maui, and her puppies was a good ending to an interesting night. I had never seen such young puppies before and it was difficult to tear away from the birthing crib. Heck, maybe I’ll be taking a male puppy from Maui’s litter!
I remember squealing over welsh corgi videos that my friend Adam would send me on facebook.. I had wanted to get a welsh corgi for my boyfriend for Christmas, but the timing wasn’t right and his family isn’t too keen on dogs. Not to mention, we were traveling around Asia throughout December and January so it wasn’t the best idea to drop a puppy off to our parents’. Now that I have plans to spend my summer in Shanghai, hopefully I will have enough time to train and care for a puppy that can keep me company.
As I’m writing this, I’m looking for stables to visit in SoCal when I go down for a tattoo this Spring Break.
Here’s to my future baby Bacon (as shown) and unnamed pup.
